Born 1957 Monaghan. A full time professional artist since graduating from Belfast College of Art 25 years ago. Trevor paints contemporary genre in his own very unique and distinctive style. Perspective along with the mood created by light and colour are the bases of Trevor’s work. He is not afraid to anchor his work around anonymous or inanimate everyday objects. Objects that the normal eye would barely notice. It is such an approach to composition that make Trevor’s works a snapshots of a moment in time......... These are our history paintings of tomorrow.
The UK’s largest selling art magazine, “Artists & Illustrators”, in an editorial on Irish art (with contributions by Whytes and Adams) published in it's September 2008 edition, identified Trevor as their No. 1 Irish artist to buy. Trevor shows exclusively with Fine Art Ireland.
