| Born 1944 in Cookstown , Co. Tyrone. Studied at Belfast College of Art in the mid sixties. Dennis has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland since the late eighties. A professional artist, he won the 1999 First Trust Bank award and took the silver medal two years running at the Royal Ulster Academy. He was awarded the Arts Society of Ulster's Perpetual Trophy in June 2000. His work hangs in major collections throughout Ireland including those of the Arts Council, the Bank of Ireland and the Doyle Hotel Group.
