Born Belfast 1938. A retired customs and excise interrogator, who, up until 2000, had never even held a paintbrush. An extraordinary man who pursued his hobby and passion for art by going back to college in his mid sixties. Graham graduated from the University of Ulster in 2005 with a B.A. Hons. Fine and Applied Art (main subject: Print Making). Diageo’s ‘Most Emerging Artist 2005’.
Graham came to the fore in 2007 with the televising of a BBC documentary about him entitled “Made in Belfast”. Graham’s work is now being sought after by both serious private and corporate collectors. He is a truly remarkable man.
