Born Edinburgh 1953. Studied at Duncan of Jordonstone College of Art between 1970 and 1974. After completing his education, he became a Founder Member of the Dundee Group of Artists. He then formed his own highly successful design consultancy firm. Jack comes from an eminent artistic dynasty and is a nephew of the late Alberto Morrocco, OBE, RSA. He shares many influences with his famous uncle, but retains the ability to impart his own individual style. The strong design elements and pure bold colour of his still-life subjects also owe a great deal to the Scottish Colourist. Jack Morrocco exhibits his distinctive still life and figurative work at major galleries in London and Scotland. He is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Scottish Academy and at the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art, and his work has also been exhibited in New York.
