One of Ireland’s most respected and gifted artists. He is a painter’s painter. Loose but not ragged. Abstraction whilst retaining form and structure. The ability to establish beautiful tone and balance with colour. Contrasting light and dark. He has everything a serious collector is looking for.

Every stroke considered, but working at the subconscious level and trusting in his academic ability, he breaks the rules but manages to hold the piece together and deliver on all the academic qualities one should be looking for in a representative piece i.e. form, structure, balance and contrast. And to get all this in a lovely impasto painterly way, for me, is what sets this man apart from the vast majority of his peers. He is a painter of our time and our environment… Urban Landscapes
